ULTRA STIFF AND HEAVY WEIGHT MULTIWALL POLYCARBONATE SHEET WITH 5 WALLS

MULTICLEAR® STRONG ULTRA 25/5 is produced in our advanced production facility designed to offer better stiffness than standard weight products. The ribs are optimised to improve the stiffness. The product offers cost saving by using less structural glazing bars hence improves aesthetics and light transmission.

UV SCHUTZ

MULTICLEAR® STRONG ULTRA 25/5 can be co-extruded with one side or two sides UV-protective layer. The product is produced with uniform UV layer hence optimum protection against discoloration and loss in mechanical properties. There is a 10 year limited warranty against discolouration, loss of impact strength and light transmission due to weathering.

EXPERIENCE

In 1994 Arla Plast pioneered the UV-protection co-extrusion technique in Europe with the MAKROLIFE® sheet. This has given Arla Plast AB unparalleled experience with UV protected sheets.

IMPACT STRENGTH

The multiwall polycarbonate sheet has superior impact strength at quarter of the weight of glass of equivalent thickness. MULTICLEAR® is more than four times the impact strength of PVC and more than ten times the impact strength of PMMA. MULTICLEAR® STRONG ULTRA 25/5 offers increased impact resistance by using cross structure and more material. The weight of the sheet is 5 kg/m2 versus 3,4 kg/m2 of standard MULTICLEAR® STRONG 25 mm.
