A RANGE OF COLOURED OPAQUE POLYCARBONATE SHEET

MAKROTECH® is based on Arla Plast AB´s long experience of producing PC sheet in mono, co- and even tri-extrusion. Extremely high impact strength and high temperature resistance are the main advantages of PC compared to other thermoplastic materials.

RECYCLING TRC (TOTAL RECYCLING CONCEPT)

Recycling is a very important part of Arla Plast sheet business and in general we can offer all possibilities in this field. Our total recycling concept, covering all types of MAKROTECH® will help you minimise the material costs. Off-cuts from MAKROTECH®‚ sheet can be re-used in new sheet and together with co-extrusion of virgin material, all quality requirements can be fulfilled. Please contact Arla Plast for more details.

MAKROTECH® FR

Is a flame retardant coloured polycarbonate sheet. This material contains the latest halogen free* flame retardant additives. A yellow card on the base material is available on the UL website, (*according to DIN VDE 472 part 815).

MAKROTECH® UV

is a fully UV-protected coloured polycarbonate sheet that provides new opportunities for the outdoor use of MAKROTECH®. We recommend to use MAKROTECH® UV for outdoor use.

METALLIC COLOURS

Arla Plast has a unique knowledge to produce metallic colours tailor-made to the customers need.

MAKROTECH® MATT DP

is an development product from Arla Plast that retains matt top surface also after thermoforming. This new product creates new opportunities to use PC where a matt surface is needed.

RPC

Is an extruded black polycarbonate sheet for thermoforming. It is a sheet with a base of regrind material and the same co-extruded top layer as on the MAKROTECH®. The carbon black itself is a very good UV absorber and protects the material in outdoor applications. With RPC You will get a product with high impact strength and high temperature resistance at a very competitive price.

MAKROTECH® AND RPC WITH STRIPES

is widely used in the heavy packaging industry where an coloured stripe can be applied to identify the item.
